hey all!!!
it's been a pretty " happening" sundae for me , considering my sundaes are usually boring cos it's a rest dae .
was chilling as usual , watching mtv and shaking my legs till my beloved Jara called me for a chat. and then we were commenting abt how nice the weather was for chilling and so off we went to star bucks to chill. she was doing her work actually. reading sum stuff for her project while i enjoyed my coffee( it was damn SHIOK!) and replied joanne's letter. ( isn't it amazing we are still writing to each other?)
pretty wonderful dae i wud sae. it had been a really LOOoooong time since i was alone hanging out with jara. we were commenting abt how nice it wud be if we got a laptop so i cud jus do rubbish with it n she cud have typed her project stuff right awae. and yes!!! both me n ling are getting our laptops next fridae!! cant waiT!! we are getting the fujitsu tablet. it's really cool . cos u get to turn the screen 180 degree arnd n write on the sceen jus like a palm top. n u know what?? i think it's really useless. wahaha. cos we typed faster than we write. so it wud be more appropriate to type if we are trying to note down wat the professors are saying. PLUS! if we were to get the IBM laptops, which many of our seniors reccomended,as we got a IBM booth in sch so any probs can be easily fixed. PLUS it's more durable and cheaper and longer life battery. and so.. me n weiling after much thinking .. we still chose the FUJITSU!! wahaha. cos we are shallow people.. boohooo. it's nicer on the appearance and lighter... and the tablet is indeed cooL! though we dun need it but wat the heck . we feel happier buying that!! i can only think of playing tic tac toe on tt tablet though.
okok. back to my WONDERFUL sundae. nic called us out for a last dinner with chaiyut. we had our dinner at esplanade , the restaurant beside HArry's. so there we were, chaiyut nic josh jara and ME! okay. bad service right fr the start. i wasn't arnd when they walked into the restaurant. but i was told that the waiter said this," pls make up ur mind quickly whether u wanna sit inside the restaurant or outside cos we got other customers to attend to." not in exact words but it's roughly like this. and yeah, the waiter who took our orders had got such a stoned face. we needa raise their pay to make them smile i think. anyway,as we are ordering our food. we were told them the restaurant had ran out of all steaks. wat kinda restaurant is this man? dun u stock up b4 hand? and when josh was ordering his mud chocolate cake , the waiter said," im sorry, we ran out of all chocolate cakes dessert" HMMMmm... okay at least they still had my brownie for sale BUT!! they ran out of vanilla ice cream tt cums with the brownie. well done isn't it? they ran outta everything.
towards the end of the dinner, me n jara went to the toilet and i had this pricky feeling on my skin along the edge of my bra. i saw a few bite marks n reckoned tt it was jus sum insect bites. however, the itch got worse as we were waiting for a cab home. there were no bloody cabs arnd B4 midnight. and all the cabs appeared when the clock struck 12. argh~!! the itch was unbearable as i tried damn hard not to scratch in the public.
as i got home. i noticed tt my entire body is flooded with the bite marks!!! it was so horrible. my parents were having goosebumps looking at them. i quickly took a bath, woke my mom up and they sent me to tan tock seng hospital. n GOSH!! gotat wait an hr b4 i get to see the doc and tt really tested my endurance. sat on the chair fidgeting here n there trying hard not to scratch.
n finally, i got to consult the doc, he gave me 2 options. btw , he looked like my age!!! i think he jus graduated or sth. anyway, i cud have jus take the med n go home or took and injection which i needa stay arnd for an hr for observation. so we chose the injection as he said it's faster n stop the itch faster. so there i was.. lying on the bed.. and i said.. " i might faint after the injection u know? it happened b4." dr tan replied,: oh. dun worry , im using the thinnest needle." okay the injection wasnt at my arm it's on my hand. so he poked!!! n removed! n poked n removed!! dr tan said," i cant locate the right position." and i asked," i tot my veins are pretty obvious. u shud be able to see them clearly." dr tan replied," erm yeah.. but sumtimes it does happen." and i go.. OH NOOOO!!! and now, my hand is bruised. and it's still pain.
he said tt the injection cud be pretty drowsy n yes i did fell asleep after tt. and hr later, i was told to get up and had my blood pressure measured n stuff. n gosh!!!! i fainted seconds after i stood up. 3 nurses had to support me. ( u mean i gained tt much weight!!??) anyway, after i lied down again, i said i wanna go home. the nurse said<" NO! i cant let u off when ur in this state. do u know ur face was totally white n so were ur lips." and i can hear the doc telling sumone," the injection wasnt tt strong. blah blah"
okay n then i fell asleep for another hr n eventually the drama ended when i got home arnd 5am in the morning. no work on MONDAE~!!! my poor parents had to wait in the hospital for so long while i got to sleep. but anyway, both the doc and me were thinking the allergy might cum fr the tiramisu cake. but i had only a spoon. cos i stole it fr josh. plus the alcohol aint tt strong. but tt was most likely the reason why. or it cud be the chicken parmigiana i ate. but no matter what! im not gg back to that restaurant! they ran outta so many things, it cud be tt i was served expired food too. boo...
okay. tt pretty sums up my wonderful sundae which i rather choose to have a peaceful and boring one at home. anyway, dinner was great( im definitely not refering to the food) as we chat abt our sec sch life. funny things tt had happened. interesting habits of certain teachers. really nice. everything was perfect except for wat happpened after the dinner. BOO!!!
anyway , tmr me n ling will have our dae off and we are heading down to SMU for a talk/briefing regarding internship and CIP. im not keen abt the talk though. but im excited abt meeting new ppl!!or rather peeping at ppl during the talk. woohoo!!! yay!!! hahaha. okay. tt's all for now.
hey tash, zj and ling. im sorry i cant make it this fridae.. boohooo. gotta give tuition. n so how man? u guys go ahead?? theres no wae we can meet. unless... one fine saturdae, andrew cant cum out. so we can meet on a sat!!! for the week daes, ling is only free on tues n fri and yet im not free on tues n fri. sad case. alritey , keep me inform yeah?
