Dear XIE MINGYAN
This year, SMU had attracted many top quality students with as many as 7700 students competing for 870 places. This means that only one in nine applicants will succeed in securing a place.
In particular, the Bachelor of Business Management is 8 times oversubscribed i.e. only 1 in 8 applicants gets selected. I am delighted to let you know that you have not only won a coveted place at SMU but the course of your choice as well -- the Bachelor of Business Management program! My heartiest congratulations!
the email goes on n on. the moment i opened the mail, i was 'overwhelmed' by the large chunk of words. desperately, i look all over the mail for jus one word. CONGRATULATIONS!! WHEW!! man... cant they put the word congrats as the title. freaked me out...
and yes!!! everything will go on smoothly from now onwards. not smoothly-smoothly. but u know, like gimme a chance to start all over again. i promise i will work hard fr now onwards. u too weiling! lets stick to our words. and will nv let personal problems interfere with my studies again. alright. this rox!!! u know how happy i am now?
anyway, im suppose to reply within 14 daes as to whether or not i wanna accept the offer. if within this 14 daes, im not offered NTu biz then i will take up the offer for sure. woohoo..
last night i finally get to sit down n chill with my 3 dearest frens, T.L.Z. hahah tash ling zhen jie. the dinner was great. yummy!!! the pasta took my breath awae. although weiling left us during our chilling session, we still managed to crap abit here n there with tash's man arnd.
while waiting for our cab at pan pacific hotel, there was this dinner and dance of sum foreign sch. so many caucasians all dressed up. the guys all look younger than the gals. n woo! there was this asian tt looked real cute!! man!! hahaha
anyway, watched Gospel of John with my aunt this morning. pretty gd show i wud sae. but it was real uncomfortable to sit in the theatre for 3 whole hrs.and , guess what? i finally went jogging agaiN!!! jogged 3.7 km jus now. woo... okay i hope when i wake up tmr, i will FEEl slim. though its all in the mind. but im happy with tt. haha
okay.. im outta here. man. im truely happy fr my heart now. really really happy.not cos of the SMU only. but ive managed to let go of my past. YEAH! =P
